Beacon Indoor Bowls Club - Every Monday 10.00am to 12.00pm  and 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Work Club - Run by Gedling Homes

Drop in session every Thursday afternoon. Starts at 2.00pm to 4.00pm in the Blaze Room.

Craft Group - Run by local ladies.

Starting on Tuesday September 6th at 9.30am to 12.30pm. 

The group will meet weekly. All abilities are welcome to share and learn new skills.

 

U3A Indoor Bowls - Every Thursday from 6th October.

 

Stay & play - Games crafts and bible stories. Aimed at the under 8s and parents/carers. Refreshments provided. £1 entry per child. Takes place during school holidays - Check the website for more information.

 

Thursday afternoons

A Community Cafe is now open every Thursday during school term time.

The cafe will run alongside other events happening on a Thursday afternoon, and will provide drinks and light meals.

 

The Beacon also be offers:-

  • A Foodbank - Linked to Arnold Foodbank
  • Debt Advice - Provided by Kings Money Advice Centre

These services will run from 2.00pm to 4.00pm

 

From 3.30pm we will be opening an After School Drop in for Families. The club will provide a space for homework or to grab a meal, alongside offering crafts, board games, baking and music skills classes.

Children attending the club must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

 

Messy church has been introduced as part of the Thursday afternoon slot - The next event will be on 19th October starting at 3.30pm

Prayer and Worship

 

The Beacon team meet for prayer and worship every Wednesday at 9.30am in the Torch Lounge.

 

This is a time of gathering together to share news and pray for the Killisick area.

 

The gathering is open to all.
